All shelves are hand veneered with real American white Oak veneer onto a stable solid core so they can be cut, planed or sanded to fit into uneven walls and perfect for alcove shelving. To ensure a tough and beautiful finish. We spray three coats of clear lacquer and all are hand-sanded between each coat. The Oak floating shelves are extra strong and can support weights of up to 50kg.
